One week after a fire tore through 61 Buchanan Place, a demolition crew made a grisly discovery on Monday afternoon. Three badly burned bodies were found on the second floor of the University Heights building, which was a “known squatter house,” according to The Wall Street Journal. One law enforcement source says they’ve obtained video that shows four men entering the building and only one leaving, with the fire becoming visible about an hour later. Fire officials say they couldn’t perform a more thorough search last week because the building seemed structurally unsound.
