Man Who Set Himself on Fire Was From New Jersey

Police investigate the scene after a man set himself on fire at the National Mall on October 4, 2013 in Washington, DC. The man, according to witnesses, poured gasoline on his body before lighting himself on fire and is now being treated for life-threatening injuries.

There’s still no information as to why he did it, but police on Monday said the man who died after setting himself on fire on the Washington, D.C. Mall was John Constantino, 64, of Mt. Laurel, New Jersey. They identified him using DNA and dental records because he was so badly burned.
