Every 30 years or so, something happens in America that literally everyone — Democrats and Republicans; evangelicals and atheists; sadists and masochists; hobos, tramps, and bums — agrees is a really nice thing. That once-in-three-decades event is taking place right now in San Francisco, where the Make-a-Wish Foundation and thousands of volunteers have turned the city into an elaborate comic-book adventure for Miles, a 5-year-old boy with leukemia. So far, Miles dressed up as Batkid, was driven around in a Batmobile, saved a damsel in distress, and caught the Riddler. President Obama likes it. Ted Cruz likes it. Everyone is supposedly crying at their desks, although we’re dubious. Follow along in the live Twitter feed below.
