The mayor of Monticello, New York, a small village in upstate Sullivan County, was arrested for DWI earlier this month, and he didn’t take it well. “Don’t call me mayor,” Gordon Jenkins snapped at a police officer at one point while under custody. “Call me nigger, because that’s what I am when I’m right here in handcuffs. But you know something? I don’t give a fuck.” But Jenkins did appear to give at least one fuck, because he ripped a clock off the wall and smashed it on the ground, earning himself a charge of criminal mischief.
