Joe Lhota may have lost the mayor's race on Tuesday, but at his election night party he did not lose the opportunity to have a good time, so much so that he out-partied his 22-year-old daughter. After a good-natured concession speech, in which he praised Bill de Blasio's success but said, "we are one city," Lhota headed for the VIP room at the Gansevoort Hotel, closed out the open bar at 11:30 p.m., then headed down the street to The Churchill to keep the party going, the New York Daily News reports. He smoked a cigar, he had a few drinks, and when his daughter, Kathryn, said she wanted to go home, "he joked with her that she needed more Hoya spirit, a reference to the mascot of their shared alma mater." Man, election night Joe Lhota is sure a lot more fun than this guy.
