The husband of Katherine Harris, the former congresswoman and Florida secretary of state who became famous (or infamous, depending on whom you ask) for her handling of the 2000 presidential recount, killed himself in the couple’s home this morning. Anders Ebbeson, a Swedish businessman, had “been suffering health conditions that he’d been attempting to deal with,” according to the local pastor.
