The estranged wife of Richard D'Alauro, the National Rifle Association field representative for New York City, testified alongside domestic-violence victims on Capitol Hill after her husband's 39 guns were confiscated following a 2010 incident. "We are here talking about people who have lost their lives," said Maribeth D'Alauro, whose order of protection, which banned the NRA official from owning the weapons, expired last month. "I am concerned that I may end up being one of those people."
