Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio and his wife Chirlane McCray are sometimes compared to Bill and Hillary Clinton, mostly because they're alright with the public knowing that McCray frequently advises her husband on career and political matters. In the past, they've indicated that they don't mind the comparison. Now, it seems they're actively embracing it: On Saturday, De Blasio, who worked for HUD during the Clinton administration, announced that the other Bill will swear him in as mayor of New York City on the steps of City Hall on January 1. (A bible once owned by FDR will be used for the ceremony.) Hillary, who employed De Blasio as the campaign manager of her 2000 Senate run and helped him raise over $1 million this year, will also attend the event. Those free inauguration tickets just got a lot more valuable.
