It's not clear whether he's a Megyn Kelly acolyte or just a run-of-the-mill idiot, but a New Mexico high school teacher is in trouble after scolding a black ninth-grader (with autism) who came to class dressed as Santa:
Students at Cleveland High School were told they could dress up as Santa, elves or reindeer. But when a black student chose to be Santa Claus, he was called out for the color of his skin.
"Christopher, don't you know Santa Claus is white? Why are you wearing that?"
Christopher was "ashamed and embarrassed" in front of his classmates and his Christmas spirit was crushed — he "no longer wants to decorate the tree," his father says — but the racial integrity of a fictional children's character had been protected. And that, in the end, is what Christmas is all about.
