It's debatable whether taking a selfie of oneself cracking a smile in front of a suicidal man on a bridge is actually worse than taking a selfie at a funeral or at a concentration camp site. They're all terrible. But at least the girl who took this one yesterday of herself in front of a Brooklyn Bridge jumper — which made the cover of the New York Post today because, presumably, it is the most important news story of the day — knows she probably shouldn't have done that. Asked her name by the Post, who spotted her taking the selfie, the anonymous blonde responded, "I'd rather not." Smart decision, although, again, her photo is on the front page.
