Citing the the longtime senator's support of causes such as immigration reform and funding Obamacare, the Arizona Republican Party censured McCain for his "insufficiently conservative" voting record during a meeting of state committee members in Tempe. However, state party spokesman Tim Sifert told the Associated Press that "no further action was expected," so it seems that McCain can continue to use that "maverick" title without consequences.
