Police have made an arrest in the attack on Randy Gener, the gay Filipino-American theater writer who was hit in the head near his Hell's Kitchen apartment last week. After collaring Leighton Jennings, 24, cops said they believed the attack stemmed from an argument on the street, not a hate crime, as had been suspected after Gener was found still in possession of his wallet and phone. Gener is still in critical condition at St. Luke’s–Roosevelt Hospital.
