The Most Dangerous Bar in New York Should Probably Close

Broken beer bottles sit in a cage after participants took part in "Glassphemy!", a project from artist and developer David Belt, on May 20, 2010, in Brooklyn, New York.

Since 2010, PJ’s Cocktail Lounge in Harlem “has been the scene of four separate shootings, a stabbing, an assault, a gunpoint robbery, and an attack on two police officers,” DNA Info reports. Before that, it was closed temporarily for selling alcohol to minors, and the NYPD is moving to have it shut down again for at least another year, charging its owner with going about “business as usual” in the face of violence.
