Jerry and George Stroll Into Old Haunt, No Big Deal

Jerry Seinfeld and Jason Alexander (better known as George Costanza) walked casually into Tom’s Restaurant (better known as Monk’s or “Restaurant”) on the Upper West Side today, dressed like it was the late nineties. The magical moment, captured perfectly by Ali Phil, wasn’t just for a big salad — the place was closed for filming, maybe for a very special episode of Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

Seinfeld also recently teased a new project with Larry David. “We wrote this script for this thing that you will eventually see but I can’t reveal what it is at this time,” he said. “All I can do is tell you is that it’s big, huge, gigantic.” The same could easily be said of this historic image. We’ll take anything, really.
