Movember Is Actually Hurting Razor-Maker’s Bottom Line

Procter & Gamble has a problem with Movember: The month in which men sport mustaches to show support for prostate cancer actually affected razor sales for the company that owns Gillette, CFO Jon Moeller told the Financial Times. Razor sales in the three months prior to December remained flat. One bright spot for Gillette amid the scourge of altruistic mustaches was that, "While the incidence of facial shaving is somewhat down, the incidence of body shaving is up, and we can take advantage of that and plan to do that as well." Can't wait for those subway ads.
