The list of states that would ban gay marriage just keeps shrinking. The latest to give up on the idea is Nevada, which announced on Monday it would no longer pursue a court battle against a group of same-sex couples suing the state over its law banning same-sex marriages. "It has become clear that this case is no longer defensible in court," Governor Brian Sandoval said of the decision. Soon enough, those legendarily ill-advised Las Vegas weddings will be available to all.
