Teenage Girl Escapes From NYPD Cuffs, Custody

A 15-year-old girl with a future as an escape artist apparently wriggled out of her handcuffs while in police custody at the NYPD’s Midtown South Precinct on Monday night. She had been arrested for grand larceny (it’s unclear what she stole), but after she got out of the cuffs, the unidentified girl got out of the juvenile room where she was being held, and then strolled out of the precinct. Perhaps the NYPD should see about getting some child-sized handcuffs?
