Malaysia Airlines Executive Confirms Public’s Suspicions About Missing Plane

While he made no mention of the black hole theory, Malaysia Airlines commercial director Hugh Dunleavy did confirm at least one thing that many people who watched the search for Flight 370 have realized on their own: Finding that plane is going to take forever, at least in news cycle years. "I believe it's somewhere in the south Indian Ocean. But when [a plane] hits the ocean it's like hitting concrete. The wreckage could be spread over a big area. And there are mountains and canyons in that ocean," Dunleavy told the U.K.'s Evening Standard. "I think it could take a really long time to find. We're talking decades." That might be the last update on the situation for a while.
