The NYPD would like a word with the four young ladies who managed to rob four people in Washington Heights between 8 and 9 a.m. on the morning of Monday, May 26. According to the police, the crew — ages 16 to 20, all “about 5-foot-5” — used the same tactic on a 64-year-old man, a 61-year-old man, a 27-year-old man, and a 24-year-old woman: One girl asked the victim for directions, and then the other three moved in to relieve them of their credit cards, cash, jewelry, and cell phones. Nobody was injured during the short crime spree, but there still might be a screenplay — or at least a more extensive New York Post story — in the works.
