Times Square Spider-Man Arrested, Again

By

Once again, one of the men who hang around New York City dressed up as superheroes and other beloved characters has attacked another person. On Friday afternoon, a Times Square Spider-Man was arrested for groping a woman's breasts and butt as he put his arm around her on Broadway and 42nd Street. The New York Daily News reports that Spidey — a.k.a. 22-year-old Moussa Rabaoui — also yelled and cursed at his victim when she got angry at him. He's been charged with forcible touching and is being held on $250 bail. The incident came just days after one of Rabaoui's comrades, Times Square Spider-Man Philip Williams, was acquitted of an assault charge he got for punching a female tourist who stiffed him on a tip. It might be time to just ban that particular costume from midtown.
