According to top mechanic Timur Mukhodinov, approximately 1,900 of New York’s 6,000 bulky blue bicycles are awaiting repairs in a Brooklyn warehouse. (A rep for NYC Bicycle Share says that the number of ailing machines is closer to 1,184 bikes.) "We don’t know if [the number] will ever meet zero, because that’s something that’s fueled by the users every single day," said Mukhodinov, whose shop fixes 200 bikes each day. What are you people doing to those things?
