New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has made a point of rarely traveling out of state, but he's making quite the exception this week. On Tuesday the governor will fly to Tel Aviv to show support for Israel in his first international trip since taking office in 2011. He'll be joined on the two-day trip by several state leaders, Daily News publisher Mort Zuckerman, his brother-in-law and designer Kenneth Cole, and other family members. "Friends stand together in times of crisis, and I am proud to lead this bipartisan delegation to Israel to reaffirm our friendship and support," Cuomo said in a press release. "New York has always had a special relationship with Israel. As Hamas and other terrorist organizations continue to threaten Israel, now is the time to deliver that message of solidarity in person."
