Bucks County, Pennsylvania, resident George Byrd IV offered up a creative explanation when police asked why he fired a gun into his neighbor’s home: He didn’t know how to unload it any other way.

The 31-year-old — who, strictly speaking, wasn’t even allowed to own a gun after a felony burglary conviction at age 17 — evidently conjured up this excuse after initially denying that the incident happened at all.

Whatever chance his plan had of working, however, was probably crushed when cops found two other guns in his house.
