Jeb Bush’s 2016 Run Is ‘More Than Likely,’ Says His Son

In case it was not clear from his frequent campaign appearances and the months-long effort to redeem the Bush family name, Jeb Bush is probably running for president. Of course, the former Florida governor says he’s still making up his mind, but in an interview with This Week, his son George P. Bush admitted it’s “more than likely” — after some prodding from ABC News’ Jonathan Karl.

I think it’s actually, I think it’s more than likely that he’s giving this a serious thought in moving forward,” Bush said. “More than likely that he’ll run?” Karl asked. “That he’ll run,” Bush said. “If you had asked me a few years back, I would’ve said it was less likely.”

For those already speculating about the 2032 presidential election, the interview also shows how the younger Bush is perfecting his skills as a Republican politician. He’s currently making his first run for office, campaigning for Texas land commissioner, and has already learned that it’s okay to say climate change is a “huge problem” in your state, but when asked if it’s a man-made problem, you should repeatedly stress, “I’m not a scientist!
