Ugh, It Might Snow on Halloween in NYC

Remember last winter, when it wouldn’t stop snowing? We missed that, right? No?

Because it’s back already: “A shocking blast of cold air and the potential for snow will highlight the weather for millions in the Northeastern states this Halloween into the first weekend of November,” according to AccuWeather’s forecast at the moment.

As Friday turns into Saturday, just as the sloppiest of the sloppy leave their Halloween parties, makeup running and costumes partially intact, cold rain may turn to wet, miserable snow. It’s not expected to stick, just to make the morning-after detritus extra-soggy.

The first snow of the season! How beautiful.
