Top brass at 1PP are responding to national pressure over police behavior by moving up the start date on a new body-cam program, originally set to start next month. Beginning Wednesday, the pilot program will test different cameras on 60 officers from six precincts. The cameras are, of course, meant to film police interactions and to clear up confusion about brutality … just ahead of a grand jury ruling in the Eric Garner case.
