Cops Catch Another Coyote in Manhattan

The New York Post reports that some NYPD officers tranquilized a coyote in Stuy Town on Sunday morning, about a half-hour after a security guard spotted the wild creature hanging around the ConEd plant. The little guy was reportedly placed in an “over-sized dog crate,” with the cops “laughing and taking cell phone pictures … but then nervously jumping back if it made the slightest move forward.” (No word on where he’s headed.) The coyote is the second to be caught in Manhattan this month, which means that we’re one canid away from a trend and/or invasion.
