Yet another coyote has been captured in New York. Manhattan’s latest canid incident went down in Battery Park City, where the animal was first spotted jogging at 5 a.m. on Saturday. Gothamist has some videos.
“Police caught up to the coyote again later near North Cove Marina,” CBS 2 reports. “Officers were able to shoot it with a tranquilizer dart and cage the animal around 7:30 a.m.” She’s pretty cute!
It’s not clear if this is the same coyote that was seen taking in the air at Riverside Park earlier this week. Either way, experts say the coyotes are here to stay — and that they probably won’t eat you.
