Murderer David Sweat, who was shot and captured by authorities last week after a 22-day, multi-million-dollar manhunt, has now been moved from Albany Medical Center to the maximum-security Five Points Correctional Facility in Romulus, New York. CNN reports that after Sweat is evaluated in the prison’s infirmary (which will include a suicide watch), he will be transferred to a single cell in Five Points’ special confinement unit, where he’ll spend 23 hours of every day. Five Points, which opened in 2000, is a much newer facility than the prison Sweat escaped from.
