Two-Month-Old Husky Puppy Apparently Dognapped During Burglary

Luna, a Siberian husky puppy, was reportedly stolen during a break-in in Clason Point, the Bronx, on Tuesday. Also missing: a PlayStation 4, some Air Jordans, and $1,000 cash, according to police.

The dog’s owner, Gaudencio Rosendo, returned to his apartment at lunchtime to find his door broken and his furniture in “disarray,” Gothamist reports. Rosendo said his three other dogs had been attacked with pepper spray and were splattered with paint from a paintball gun. But his two-month-old puppy Luna was missing.

I want her back, I don’t care they can keep everything else, I just want the baby back,” Rosendo said. “The money is not everything, the puppy is like a family you cannot replace,” he said.

Luna is a white dog wearing a collar with a pink, heart-shaped pendant around her neck.

If you have information about Luna or the burglary, call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
