Months and months of campaigning in New Hampshire all come down to one snowy and slushy Tuesday in February. The state, host to the country’s first presidential primary, is known for its “independent streak.” In politics-speak, that means that just about anyone has a shot — which is why every Democratic and Republican contender (and any surrogates they might have) were out working the voters this past weekend, trying to win over some last-minute converts. —Jen Kirby
