Not all scary clowns.

The national menace of idiots dressing like clowns and scaring people who are just trying to survive another miserable day has made its way to New York City. On Wednesday afternoon, a man in clown makeup was riding the 6 train with a kitchen knife. At the 96th Street stop, the clown stood at the door, preventing people from exiting, and when a 16-year-old ran past him up the station stairs, the knife-wielding harlequin followed.
Police say that boy got away — clown shoes aren’t the best for chasing —and they’re currently looking for the costumed bozo, whom they intend to charge with menacing.
