The aurora borealis has been described as nature’s fireworks, and it has also been looking particularly interesting lately. This despite the fact that it’s not due for another peak until 2024. In fact, it’s been so awe-inducing that Reykjavik officials recently sent a letter telling everyone to turn their lights off and enjoy.
