Your Bleak Rangers’ Playoff Outlook, Now With More Injuries!

Here's a quick list of things the Rangers lost over the weekend: a game to Toronto, in overtime, after holding a 2–0 lead; a much-needed point in the standings, by virtue of blowing that lead, which dropped them four points behind Boston and two behind Atlanta; and, possibly, Sean Avery, who injured his knee and (like Ryan Callahan) is considered day-to-day. (Fourth-liner Brian Boyle is out as well.) Boston, by the way, also has a game in hand on the Rangers, who next play the Islanders tomorrow night.
