Of all our stops on the NYC College Hoops Trip, we had the biggest soft spot for Peter Aquilone Court, home of St. Francis (NY). Yes, a large part of that was because St. Francis is a five-minute walk from our apartment, but we also liked that they had a friar on their bench. Anyway, their coach up and left for “personal reasons” last week, and it looks like the new head Terrier in charge is going to be former St. John’s assistant Glenn Braica. (Others want the job as well.) Whoever can get St. Francis in the NEC Tournament is fine with us.
