marian gaborik injury report

Beginning Tonight, a Taste of Life Without Marian Gaborik

When the Rangers skate against the Avalanche at the Garden tonight, they'll do so without Marian Gaborik, who, like Chris Drury, sustained an injury during the home opener. Gaborik — whose value to this team can't be overstated, even though he hadn't yet scored a goal this season — will miss two to four weeks with a shoulder separation, while Drury will be out four to eight weeks after colliding with Michal Rozsival and breaking the same finger he'd broken during training camp, but in a different place. As for tonight, Todd White will make his Rangers debut; Erik Christensen will return to the lineup; and the lines will be reshuffled in such a way that only the combination of Brandon Dubinsky, Artem Anisimov, and Ryan Callahan will remain intact from the season's first three games.
