The ongoing meltdown of Ricky Vaughn Charlie Sheen had yet to find its way onto this blog, but this caught our attention: Yankees right fielder Nick Swisher is among the sixteen lucky people Sheen has chosen to follow on his new Twitter account, as of this writing. (Among the others: Brian Wilson of the Giants and Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit. Sheen, by the way, already has more than 850,000 followers.) This headline from the blog It Is High, It Is Far, It Is ... Caught kind of says it all: "Charlie Sheen is following Nick Swisher on Twitter ... I don't know what that means, but it can't be good." We'd suggest that perhaps some of Sheen's winning-ness could rub off on Swisher and his teammates, but we get the impression that Sheen's definition of winning isn't the same as the Yankees', or anyone else's.
