The Rex Ryan book-promotion tour — not to be confused with his tour of local awards ceremonies — made a stop on The Colbert Report last night, a day after he sat down with David Letterman to discuss football things like the draft, the lockout, and Sal Alosi. Ryan pretty much giggles his way through the Colbert interview, which touches on topics like the royal wedding, the possibility of the Jets transitioning to flag football, and whether everyone in the Ryan clan has a dog’s name. One blog suggested this morning that Ryan appeared to have no idea who Colbert was, but he seemed like a pretty good sport to us, whether that’s true or not. A giggling good sport, but a good sport nonetheless.
