Video-Game Knicks Fall Under .500

As previously established, we are dealing with the (never going to end) NBA lockout by simulating the Knicks season on NBA2K12 on our PlayStation 3 and posting the results here, as if they were actual games. So! Last night, the Knicks began a seven-game road trip by traveling to Salt Lake City to play the Utah Jazz. With Carmelo Anthony out 2–4 weeks, the Knicks are desperately wanting for scoring options, as evidenced by a 77-74 loss to the Jazz. The Knicks only shot 40 percent from the field and had only two players in double figures (Chauncey Billups and Amar'e Stoudemire, who combined for 50 of the 74 points). Until Carmelo comes back, the Knicks are just gonna have trouble putting the video ball in the video basket. (Derrick Brown just isn't cutting it). The Fake Knicks are now 3-4 on the season and play their old pals in Denver tomorrow evening. Alas, Carmelo won't get to say hello to his former team and its fans.

As always, here's a short video from the Jazz game, shot poorly off our television by our iPhone.
