As we explained last week, we are dealing with the (never going to end) NBA lockout by simulating the Knicks season on NBA2K12 on our PlayStation 3 and posting the results here, as if they were actual games. So! The Knicks were supposed to play road games against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday and the Detroit Pistons on Sunday. The Virtual Knicks split. The Bucks smacked the Knicks around 83-71, with Amar'e Stoudemire scoring 26 points and no one else doing much of anything. But they rebounded against the dreadful Pistons, winning 84-72 thanks to 22 points from Carmelo Anthony. That makes the Knicks 2-1 on the virtual season. They're "off" until Tuesday, when they "play" Kevin Durant and Oklahoma City at the Garden. What a ticket that will be! [cries] Look back for the recap on Wednesday. Here's a short video from the Pistons game, shot poorly off our television by our iPhone.
