No Knicks Among NBA All-Star Reserves

Amare Stoudemire #1 of the New York Knicks rebounds the ball against the Washington Wizards at Verizon Center on January 6, 2012 in Washington, DC.

The NBA All-Star reserves have been announced, and no Knicks will be joining starter Carmelo Anthony in Orlando. (Actually, there's no guarantee Anthony — currently out with a groin injury — will even plays in the game himself.) Amar'e Stoudemire, by the way, had played in the previous five All-Star Games, and six of the last seven. Tyson Chandler has never played in an All-Star Game. [Knicks Blog/Newsday]
