Four thoughts about this ad, promoting tonight's Rangers-Blackhawks game on MSG:
1. We realize there's plenty of overlap on a Venn diagram featuring "Rangers fans" on one side and "Knicks fans" on the other, but considering Rangers diehards might be a little sensitive to the way their first-place hockey club is being overshadowed by Lin and the Knicks right now, this might not be the wisest way to promote their games.
2. Should Carl Hagelin be offended he wasn't chosen for this ad?
3. We're really starting to scratch the bottom of Jeremy Lin pun barrel, aren't we? (Note to self: Jeremy Lin pun barrels would sell by the truckload right now. Get to work designing such a thing.)
4. It's only a matter of time until the Rangers announce they're retiring the No. 15 number of Lin Bend, who appeared in eight games during the 1942–43 season, isn't it?
