L.A. Local News Team Is Sorry for That Kings Logo Mix-Up

Oops.

Earlier this week, Will pointed to an Awful Announcing item about a Los Angeles local news broadcast that used the logo of the Sacramento Kings in a graphic for a piece on the city's playoff teams instead of using the logo of the hockey-playing Los Angeles Kings. (This is the second time this kind of thing has happened during these playoffs: A local station in Miami used the FIU Panthers' logo instead of the Florida Panthers logo in a graphic when south Florida's NHL team played the Devils in the first round.) Anyway, in the interest of fairness, here's a clip of that L.A. station saying sorry for the goof. "We've apologized to the team, and now, most importantly, to you," says the anchor.
