There will be no Triple Crown winner this year: I'll Have Another, who won both the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes last month, has been scratched from tomorrow's Belmont Stakes. Appearing on "The Dan Patrick Show," trainer Doug O'Neill said that the horse "is officially out of the Belmont." Via DanPatrick.com, O'Neill said he took I'll Have Another out this morning and that the horse looked fine, but there was swelling when he returned to the stable. O'Neill said that I'll Have Another "has the start of some tendinitis in the left front leg." O'Neill, who said he doesn't know how I'll Have Another got hurt, said he looks fine and plans to walk the horse in front of the media at a press conference this afternoon. That said, the horse's racing career appears to be over. Patrick asked O'Neill whether I'll Have Another has run his last race. Answered O'Neill: " If I had to wager ... I would say yes."
