Following reports that the Knicks had decided not to match the three-year, $25.1 million offer sheet Jeremy Lin signed with the Houston Rockets, a Knicks spokesman said late Tuesday night, “I can confirm we are not matching.” The team made no further comment, but Lin tweeted, "Extremely excited and honored to be a Houston Rocket again!! " adding, "Much love and thankfulness to the Knicks and New York for your support this past year ... easily the best year of my life " And with that, New York's all-too-brief bout of Linsanity is officially over.
