Report: The Knicks Have Decided Not to Match Houston’s Offer for Jeremy Lin

The Knicks have until 11:59 tonight to decide whether they'll match Houston's offer sheet for Jeremy Lin, but Howard Beck reports in the Times that, according to a person briefed on the decision, they'd already made up their minds as of 4 p.m. today and they're not going to match it. Beck reports that deliberations were said to be over, and the Knicks are expected to make an official announcement this evening. Ken Berger of CBS, meanwhile, tweets that a league source confirmed for him that the Knicks' "current plan" is to not match. Beck reports that there's always a slim chance they could reverse their decision, but it looks like Jeremy Lin is about to officially become a Houston Rocket.
