Eddy Curry Is Big; It’s the NBA That Got Small

We can feel the floor bounce from here.

We're already trying to figure out how we're going to cover two compelling NBA teams five-and-a-half miles from each other, with superstars everywhere, in the same conference, in the same division. We have no idea how we'll handle it if Eddy Curry returns to town. Our brains might explode.

Yeah, word broke yesterday: The Brooklyn Nets are working out Eddy Curry to see if they can find a spot for him. Somebody has to back up Brook Lopez, and hey, might as well be Eddy Curry. He played last year for the Heat briefly, appearing in fourteen games and scoring 30 points. You know what that means, don't you? It means that Eddy Curry now has a championship ring. Exactly what Isiah Thomas had in mind when he signed him!

(Seriously, Eddy Curry won a championship and Patrick Ewing never did. Mull on that.)

The Nets are going to be entertaining no matter what happens this year, but if the end of their bench features Eddy Curry and Adam Morrison, this is gonna be the most meme-friendly bench in recent NBA history. Those two would be expected to go on adventures together. Maybe they could fight crime?
