Someday, when they build the WFAN Rant Hall of Fame (sponsored by 1-877-Kars-for-Kids), this monologue will be inducted on the first ballot alongside Chris Russo’s “One Time” clip from 2003. We don't agree with everything Mike Francesa says here — Collin McHugh deserves some credit for his terrific debut no matter how weak the Rockies' lineup is, and plenty of Mets fans knew who Matt Harvey was before he was called up (without necessarily thinking he's the next Nolan Ryan) — but still: The Mets have now reached the point where a WFAN host is saying things like "If I was the manager, I’d jump off the roof if that was my team." These are not good times in Flushing.
