New jeans to wear, new packs to carry.

New clothes for fall are a rite of passage. And when you’re old enough to pick your own, what do you go for? Jeans. We assembled a couple dozen tweens to choose their favorite denims. Jackson, 12, went immediately to these skinny Cheap Mondays ($65 at Urban Outfitters, 162 Second Ave., nr. 10th St.; 212-375-1277). “I like that it looks almost like it’s a digital pattern,” he said. “And they’re comfortable.
