I knew you'd be in something cool!
That I would be ridiculous! You knew that when you saw me I
would be insane. The hat I got at Webber's Closeouts. It's on
32nd. It was $14.99. The glasses are Alexander McQueen. The
scarf's Missoni. The pocket square's Oscar de la Renta. The
shirt and jacket's Ted Baker. The T-shirt's H&M. The pants are
Gap. Shoes are Yves Saint Laurent. The bag's Louis. This ruby
the size of my nose. Where'd you get that, from a sheik?
Some jewelry dealer I know. You look like the maharaja.
I do. And here's the predictable Hermes watch. And this scarf's
Adrienne Landau. There's something traditional about this jacket,
it's sort of old English, but updated by the color at the collar.
These fluorescent colors kind of felt timely and right. How did you decide to mix everything?
You know there's so much in my wardrobe at this point, everything
just unfolds very quickly. What is this look?
It's like, gay something. It's always gay something. It's gay
porn star English rocker. I don't know! I'm like Cyndi Lauper's
gay porn star cousin. I never know what the look is. It's always...insane.
I'm color driven. I decided to wear the hat because of the hot
color at the collar. Then I think you have to triangulate. The
other colors seemed sort of boring. So the pink worked. I'm
insane. So you're resigned. You're basically just " insane."
I think that's what I appreciate about fashion. It's the most
changeable aspect of your personality. I could put on a navy
jacket and be someone else. And this week is about theatrics.
So why not do it? How dare all of us encourage people to wear
and enjoy and experience fashion if we're not doing it ourselves?
You're going to command the cameras!
How great is that hat for $15? Lite Felt! Is that a brand?
I love that it's all wool, and that it's made in the U.S.
